Students sometimes have trouble maintaining an average level of academic achievement.  When this occurs, your child's teacher may refer him/her to the BBSST. (Building Based Student Support Team) The BBSST is composed of an administrator, a teacher from each grade level, the counselor, and the student's homeroom teacher.  This team works together to review the student level of achievement and to make suggestions of accommodations that the homeroom teacher may use to help the student become more successful in school.  Essentially, the team is designed to support students who may be having difficulty in school.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, you may contact your child's teacher or Mrs. McCarthy at 928-7841.
